Chinese diplomacy

While the civilised world is hoping for democracy, the chinese foreign ministry spokesman, Ma Zhaoxu, is calling on Libya to:

"restore social stability and normalcy as soon as possible and spare no effort to protect the safety of Chinese people, organisations and assets in Libya."

When Clinton, Blair, and Bush squandered the west's moral legitimacy, this is what they left us with. Brilliant. I can't wait for the future.
